During a group project in my architectural studio in college, a friend introduced me to the wonderful world of Mod Podge. An 8 x 10 magazine mosaic takes roughly 20 hours and hundreds of recycled magazine clippings to create. First, I sketch the image with pencil on a canvas, select the colors I need from my magazine files, cut the magazines into small squares, and then using a paint brush and Mod Podge, I start with the background and build up. Every part of art is recycled magazine, including my signature.
