“My works are inspired from images of daily life. I enjoy the juxtaposition of combining everyday icons with fine art. The decal incorporations represent wallpaper or clothing. I use molds from accessories: buttons, hair barrettes, zippers and bows to enhance my surfaces. These metaphors encourage viewers to appreciate a moment in time.”
Artist Style: Visual: Figurative
All my works are made from clay. I do ceramic sculpture, sculptural wall platters, wall installations and functional pottery. Some sculptural works are created for the outdoors fired high enough to withstand the environmental elements.
