About My Work:

The jewelry I make is fabricated primarily in sterling silver.  I use modified forging techniques and various cold connections in constructing my bracelet, necklace and earring designs.

“Scenes on Wood” is how I describe my mixed media artwork.  I am both amazed and amused by the capabilities of digital photography and the transformations that can take place to a simple image.  To further enhance my images, I attach them to painted wood backgrounds and protect them with poly-carbonate sheets instead of subjecting the photographs to the confines of traditional framing.

Subject matter includes landscapes, still life, collage and objects of interest.  Architectural hardware, rivets and found objects are among the various components used to create my one-of-a-kind objects of art.  I find this mixed media not only enriches the photograph, but helps to tell its story.
