In the simplest terms, the vast majority of my artistic output would fall under the category of painting. However, I find myself very uncomfortable with the term painter. I am a pourer, a scratcher, a marker, a gouger, a sander of paint. I don’t paint: I form concepts in paint. Ultimately, I consider myself to be an object maker.
