Is there an aspiring young musician in your life? Bring them down to Tarkington Park - Indy Parks and Recreation on August 19 from 4:30-5:30 to get inspired by a real-life rocker who has a lot to show for her hard work!
Join guitarist and vocalist Nina Diaz, best known for her work with San Antonio band Girl in a Coma, for a special, all-ages artist workshop. Nina will be sharing her stories of how she got her start in her music career, experiences working with other artists, recording, and touring. There will also be time for Q & A.

Nina Diaz is the singer and guitarist for Girl in a Coma. She has been writing songs and performing music since she was 12. Girl in a Coma has released two full-length albums on Joan Jett's Blackheart Records. Diaz released her debut solo album "The Beat Is Dead" in October of 2016.
