America, Now Exhibition Seeks Artwork

   

Providence Art Club in Providence, Rhode Island is hosting an exciting upcoming National Open Juried Exhibition titled America, Now. This show will feature $5,000 in awards with a Best in Show Prize of $1,000 and will be juried by Dr. Elliot Bostwick Davis, Chair of the American Wing at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. The theme of this show will be to celebrate the best in visual art being created by Americans today. In an effort to make this show truly national in scope, artists working in all media from throughout the United States are welcome to apply.

This is an exciting opportunity for artists from across the United States to be featured in a national exhibition in the historic galleries of the Providence Art Club. Founded in 1880, the Providence Art Club is one of the oldest arts organizations in the United States and the first such Club to be jointly founded by men and women. Located in Providence, Rhode Island, the Club is easily accessible to Boston and New York and this show will draw a large and diverse audience of art lovers from across the Northeast and beyond. Providence Art Club is thrilled to host this important show, and aim for it to be a forum to share the best of American art being made today.
