Primary Colours Taking Time Off to Revamp Art vs. Art

Primary Colours is saddened to announce the annual Art vs. Art will be taking a hiatus this year as the organization looks to retool the ever-so-popular art competition. Art vs. Art is an audience-driven extravaganza where spectator votes decide which paintings will survive and which will face the wheel of death to be destroyed unless purchased at the on-the-spot auction. The last remaining painting is named the winner for all of the glory and a cash prize.

Participants and spectators should not despair, Primary Colours will be using the needed time off to reimagine the beloved event and add in some new flair. Get your noise-makers and paint brushes ready, Art vs. Art will be back with a vengeance in the near future. From Paint Day to the spectacular demolition show entitled the Main Event, Primary Colours will amaze the Indianapolis community with a revamped and improved competition and show.

Primary Colours would like to thank the community, funders, artists, and audience members for their continued support of Art vs. Art, and they look forward to seeing everyone again soon at the next Art vs. Art events. In the meantime, Primary Colours will be partnering with BRVA to host a fall gallery show and will be presenting Toys in December.
