Auditions - August 14 and 16
In 1970, renowned writer-composer-lyricist Leslie Bricusse adapted the classic Charles Dickens tale A Christmas Carol into the hit screen musical, Scrooge! starring Albert Finney. Now available as a charming stage musical with six new songs not performed in the film, Scrooge! has enjoyed a hugely successful tour of England. The cast includes a wide variety of dearly beloved characters with many featured and cameo roles.
Agape Performing Arts Company’s production of Scrooge! will be performed at McGowan Hall in Indianapolis on November 3, 4, 10, and 11 at 7:30 pm, and November 5 and 12 in the afternoon. We will cast fifty to sixty performers ages 10 – 25.Auditions will be August 14 and 16 with time slots beginning at 6:00 pm. Call Backs will be in the evening on August 17 and 18, and we will have an all-cast Read Thru from 12:00 – 4:00 on August 19.
There is no fee to audition, but performers cast in the production will pay a $100 participation fee to help pay for show expenses, with a family cap of $250. There will be need-based scholarships available.
They currently have all 90 of our audition slots full, but have started a waitlist. If anyone drops out of their audition slot, they will fill it in order of waitlist signup. You will be emailed if your name is the next to be moved into an audition slot.
