Audition for Side by Side by Sondheim at Carmel Theatre Company May 7-10. Auditions are this Sunday, Dec 11 from 1-3 pm and Monday Dec 12 from 5-8 pm at Ideal Talent, 1052 Summit Drive, Carmel.
Prepare 16 bars of a song and bring sheet music in the correct key; accompanist provided. Simple movement audition.
The cast includes Ellen Kingston and Thom Brown; they are seeking a tenor or baritone age 20-45, a soprano or mezzo age 18-40 and a male narrator age 40-65.
There will be an initial read-thru in January, a few rehearsals in February and regular rehearsals in March and April until May 7 opening.
