is pleased to announce open auditions for:

"Spider's Web"

Monday: May 22nd, 7:00 - 9:00 pm
Tuesday: May 23rd, 7:00 - 9:00 pm

The cast consists of 8 Men of varied ages & 3 women of varied ages
Sir Rowland Delahaye….......Distinguished & charming ( Stage age 50's )
Hugo Birch ………………......Irascible ( Stage age 60's )
Jeremy Warrender……….….Elegant Young Man ( Stage age mid 20’s-30’s)
Clarissa Hailsham-Brown….The heroine, second wife, step-mother ( Stage age mid 30’s )
Pippa Hailsham………………Lanky school girl ( Stage age 12 - 14 )
Mildred Peare………………...Healthy, jolly looking woman ( Stage age 40's )
Elgin………………..………….Butler, middle aged
Oliver Costello…………...….Theatrically handsome, dark somewhat unpleasant ( Stage age 30’s to 40’s)
Henry Hailsham-Brown…….Good looking, expressionless, Clarissa’s husband ( Stage age 40's )
Inspector Lord…………..…..Any age, local police station inspector
Constable Jones……….……Hope for Welsh accent, lots of stage time, but few lines

Show Synopsis:
Clarissa, the second wife of Henry Hailsham Brown, is adept at spinning tales of adventure for their bored diplomatic circle. When a murder takes place in her drawing room she finds live drama much harder to cope with, especially as she suspects the murderer might be her young stepdaughter Pippa. Worse still, the victim is the man who broke up Henry's first marriage! Clarissa's fast talking places her in some hair raising experiences, as she comes to learn that the facts are much more terrifying than fiction...
