The Cardinal Production Manager, working closely with the Artistic Director and Business Manager, has primary responsibility for all aspects of physical productions at Cardinal Stage Company in Bloomington, IN.
At present, Cardinal operates on an annual budget of $1.2M and produces 5 Mainstage shows and 2 Cardinal for Kids Shows from August to June. Rental venues include a 200-seat black box and a 500+ seat proscenium theater. The Production Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with local technicians, designers and vendors. The Production Manager will work closely with the Technical Director to keep productions on budget and forecast upcoming projects. This is a full-time staff position and the Production Manager will be expected to represent Cardinal in various capacities, as well as support and participate in special events throughout the season.
