Airbrush Artists / Muralists and Production Painters

They are looking for artists that have an eye for detail, understand color theory, can create 3D objects on flat surfaces, can work in large scale efficiently and have the creative energy to come up with great ideas. Skill in painting large format murals or theater-like stage sets is required. Applicants must be familiar with airbrushes, airless spray guns as well as other various tools and methods.

The ideal applicant is more than just a hobbyist or commercial house painter – they understand and can read a color chart and have a feel for the mix of colors and hues; Can work with large scale pieces that require thought and ingenuity to paint; Can easily move heavy objects around the shop as needed (50+ pounds); Has an eye for detail and accuracy. Can work under pressure of time constraints; Has a portfolio of work ready to show.

Average hours range from 40-42 hours/week based on work load. Possible Travel to client locations throughout the USA and possibly abroad to perform onsite murals.

Responsibilities and Duties

2nd Shift will be more of a prep and finish position. The team that is on this shift will ensure that the production that was started on 1st shift carries on and preps for the next day.

Qualification Requirements

Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years in production art/theater/theme environment
2nd Shift 1 pm – 10 pm a must
Clean driving record

Compensation relative to experience and work load – average starting pay has been between $13 and $17 per hour.
