Indiana Filmmakers Network Offers European Filmmaking Experience

Learn Filmmaking in Europe

Indiana Filmmakers Network (IFN) is offering YOU an amazing opportunity to learn and grow as a filmmaker... IFN wants to send you on an international adventure that will give your career a powerful boost. Be part of Summer Media Studio (SMS) -- an educational and job readiness opportunity for filmmakers in Europe. Begun by the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre and Audiovisual Arts Industry Incubator in 1997, SMS is an exceptional film camp. In 2018 -- for the first time -- filmmakers
from North America will participate.

Professional tutors will guide SMS participants as they divide into groups to make a film. The final night will be an exhibition when films are screened and awards presented. You will go home with credit on a film made in Europe, new friends, and incredible experiences.

Why is SMS a valuable opportunity?

  • Trusted: SMS is an established 20-year-old program
  • Experiential: learn filmmaking by actually making a film, in Europe!
  • Networking: form a valuable international circle of film colleagues
  • Travel: expand your horizons, see another part of the world, gain perspective
  • Value: Comparable film camps in the USA are expensive and do not include a two
week stay at Hotel Ąžuolynas on the gorgeous Baltic Sea coast.
