The Indianapolis Art Center, located in lively Broad Ripple, is looking for a part-time Studio Technician in their Ceramics Studio. As a Studio Technician you will be responsible for studio organization, cleaning, maintenance of the facility, tools and equipment so as to ensure its efficient and effective use by instructors and students. Technicians must be friendly and enthusiastic ambassadors of the Indianapolis Art Center’s mission and provide exemplary customer service to students and patrons.

If you possess the following skills, knowledge and abilities, they’d like you to submit your resume:

• Thorough knowledge of various glazing and firing techniques
• Experience operating variety of kilns
• Good sense of humor.
• Proficiency in various techniques related to creating ceramic art
• Availability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Desire to be surrounded by art and art making.
