Callout for entries for the 3rd Annual NICE (Noblesville Interdisciplinary Creativity Expo)
NICE is a two-night arts/literature/music event
Logan Street Sanctuary in Noblesville, IN.
Friday, October 6 and Saturday, October 7, 2017
Doors open at 6 p.m. both evenings.
NICE offers people the opportunity to create artwork inspired by each year's four selected classic literary passages. It's an "anything goes" artistic expo ~ participants share music, art, poetry, dance, performance, sculpture, and anything else! The expo is a chance to reconnect with or discover anew passages from classics you've all heard of or read in high school or college, interpret them from YOUR unique artistic perspective, and present your creations to a like-minded audience of artists and art lovers of all kinds.

The Entry Form deadline is September 23, 2017.
There are two NICE Creativity Workshops scheduled this year, where you'll discuss the passages in context and engage in creative activities ~ the workshops are a great way for you become reacquainted with the passages and discover inspiration for your own creations!

Their first 2017 NICE Creativity Workshop will focus on Harlem (Langston Hughes) and Animal Farm ~ A Fairy Story (George Orwell). Bring the tools of your creativity (any medium of art, music, writing, creating!) and join in the discussion, creative activities to find inspiration for your submissions!
