NUVO Inc. has an immediate opening for a Designer. And the timing simply could not be any better! NUVO is in the process of re-launching nearly every one of its existing products, and is considering ones that don’t even exist yet. More than that though, NUVO is striving to be the best of its kind, both in this market and in the country. NUVO’s visual identity is one of its most important assets.
First of all, you need to be a great designer. (Obviously, since they design a weekly print product, lots of ads, endless marketing pieces, more and more digital products and who-knows-what-else.) You know it if you have it; that instinctively natural ability to convey a message very simply, very quickly, very elegantly. You know that less is more. You believe in the deafening silence of white space like you believe in oxygen and we can see this in your body of work.
You’ll need the usual design software knowledge, be a hard worker and a decent human being. You should have a fluency with the fundamentals of programming language and an aptitude for self-learning. Higher level skills with WordPress would be a plus. Aside from that, we’re looking for an ego-free, fun, creative individual to help them get all of their stuff done, and still keep an eye out on the horizon for better ways and new things.
