Position: PlySpace Program Coodinator
Reporting Supervisor:Executive Director of Muncie Arts and Culture Council
Work Week: 20 hours, some evening and weekend responsibilities

POSITION DESCRIPTION
Muncie Arts and Culture Council is seeking applicants for a Program Coordinator position for PlySpace, a new, immersive Artist-in-Residence program based in the Emily Kimbrough Historic District in downtown Muncie, Indiana. PlySpace provides dedicated space and time for residents to investigate and pursue their own work. Additionally, it serves as a platform for experimentation and provocation by catalyzing conversation and collaboration with various Muncie communities. This Artist-in-Residence program is designed to be a high-quality experience for both the nationally participating artists and the citizenry of Muncie. PlySpace is a program of the Muncie Arts and Culture Council in partnership with the City of Muncie, Ball State University School of Art, and Sustainable Muncie Corporation. PlySpace is generously supported by the National Endowment for the Arts. A successful Program Coordinator will prioritize professionalism, confidentiality, and engagement in all interactions with residents as well as with organizing partners and community collaborators.
