TOYS! CALL FOR ARTISTS: Exhibition General Application Guidelines
Primary Gallery is accepting exhibition proposals for our annual Toys! group show happening on Small Business Saturday, November 25th 2017.
This year their annual Toys! show will be a little different than in years past. The show will be held as a pop-up in the former Wild Beaver Saloon in Broad Ripple in conjunction with Small Business Saturday. There will be a craft bazaar in the basement and should attract upwards of 600-1000 people. The setting is very much that of a rustic cabin/dive bar. Because of this, and because they are fans of David Lynch, they are hoping to have a Twin Peaks/David Lynch/ generally strange art show. Feel free to interpret that however you would like.
Proposals will be accepted now through November 12th, 2017. Any artist working in and around the Indianapolis area may submit a proposal for the group exhibition by sending 3-5 images of previous work, and a detailed description or sketch of the proposal to martinkuntz9@gmail.com. If you have work already made that will fit the theme, even better. There will be no size restrictions for this show.
All proposals shall be given equal consideration, and will be reviewed by a committee on a continuing basis. Notification will be given to the selected artists on November 15th, 2017.
