Sun King is looking to hire a Community Partnership Manager. It's an amazing job working with all kinds of local human service and cultural organizations to help them achieve their missions better, make their events better, and raise more money.
The department is the philanthropic arm of Sun King Brewing Company. It's a whole department whose mission is to help local organizations and causes do their job better. It's a job heavy on relationship building, creative thinking and finding new and fun ways to engage the community. They help a whole bunch of amazing community partners, then get all of the awareness from standing with them. It's really the coolest form of marketing. They handle all of the corporate giving. They sit on local boards and committees. They find new and interesting ways to immerse Sun King into the community. Plus, it's a brewery with really cool people!
The ideal person understands relationship building, fundraising, marketing, and how it all comes together into corporate philanthropy. They should also be heavy on hustle.

Job Title: Community Partnership Manager

Purpose: This position maximizes the impact of Sun King partnerships through relationship management, impact tracking, and growth strategies.
Duties/Responsibilities: • Partner relationship management: serve as key leader in this area, maintain high-value relationships with nonprofit and community partners, serve as primary contact for donation requests, identify new community partnership opportunities, manage event tracking and approval processes, and manage permits and contracts with a focus on fulfilling agreements. • Community development growth: lead team efforts to evaluate and expand partnerships to maximize impact, report monthly and yearly impact through data, manage efforts to improve user experience with internal and external parties, and identify areas for strategic growth. • Sun King event management: lead company fundraising teams in concert with Community Development Coordinator. • Community involvement: maintain an active role in a minimum of five to six local non-profit organizations at the board or committee level. • Team engagement: meet regularly with Community Development team and guide ongoing internal process development and impact tracking.
Qualifications/Requirements: • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong problem solving and leadership skills • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record • Valid ATC server’s permit and salesman’s permit • Must own a registered and insured vehicle, and be able to drive to and from event locations and community partners • Must be comfortable driving a commercial grade delivery vehicle to and from event locations • Competent in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software programs • Skilled in Google Docs, and maintaining online databases • Must work well in both team and individual setting
Education/Training/Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Marketing or equivalent experience Craft brewing knowledge a plus
Reporting: The Community Partnership Manager reports to the Community Development Director and works with the Marketing and Creative teams.
