Artists in Action Contest

 

Registration: Preregistration for the “Artists in Action” Contest is open until May 3, 2012 at SoArts.org or by calling (317) 508-3435. Day of registration begins at 9 am on May 5, 2012 at the Southport City Center, 6901 Derbyshire Rd, Southport, Indiana 46227.

 

Here Are The Rules:

• Artists must register and have their canvas or other materials stamped before beginning work. 

 

• You must bring ALL of your own supplies and equipment and clean up afterwards.  

 

• Artwork must be completed and delivered to the judges by 4 pm to be judged. You must bring your own easel or display method for judging.

 

• Artists must be 16 years of age or older.

 

• Any medium of art is acceptable as long as it can be created during festival hours.

 

• There will be absolutely no art accepted of an 

explicit nature or deemed for mature audiences. 

 

Prizes:

Prizes will go to the top three winners at the discretion of the judges. 

 

First place will receive $200, second place will receive $100, and third place will receive $50.
