Beethoven Symphony No. 5

For a Sunday matinee, the ASO returns to the intimate York Concert Hall on AU’s campus for a special classical orchestral concert. The audience will experience the music of two living composers, Estonian, Arvo Pärt, in his mystical work Silhouan’s Song, and Caroline Kyunga Ahn, in the premiere of her work, Summer Sketches for Orchestra. The new music is paired with one of the most famous pieces in orchestral literature, Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony.
