In a basic woodcarving class create a bird pin similar to those in the exhibit.
To while away the time, they carved birds. Carver Bob Lawrence will lead a beginning woodcarving session to create your own bird pin. Like those exhibited in Surpassing Adversity: The Japanese American Journey. Registration required. This session is limited to those over 18 years of age. Cost $25. All supplied will be provided.
