Arts Council of Indianapolis 100th Running Porch Party

The Arts Council of Indianapolis is hosting a 100th Running Porch Party during Gallery 924’s opening reception for Kristy Hughes: Seeing is Forgetting on May 6 from 6 – 9 pm.

What’s a Porch Party? The Indianapolis 500 Festivals’s 100th Running Host Committee is encouraging communities to host neighborhood gatherings to foster civic pride and engagement in Indiana’s signature event.

All are invited! We are excited to share St. Joseph’s vibrancy with neighbors, Gallery 924 patrons, and friends.

Festivities Include:

– Delicious food samples provided by Datsa Pizza, Oso’s Republic, Cornerstone Bread Co., and more!
– Live music organized by Musical Family Tree
– Welcome Race Fans poster giveaways
– St. Joseph neighborhood nonprofits and businesses
– Community artwork painting
– Art activities for our littlest neighbors
