An Evening with Jazz Violinist Joel Smirnoff

IVCI’s annual cabaret-style evening has become a season highlight! This year’s concert features former IVCI Jury Member and Guest Conductor Joel Smirnoff. Most noted for his years with the legendary Juilliard String Quartet, Smirnoff also is a jazz violinist having performed frequently as improvising soloist with Tony Bennett. He has also been guest soloist with Gunther Schuller and the American Jazz Orchestra, as well as with the Billy Taylor Trio. Bar and food service will be available throughout the concert.  The National Bank of Indianapolis is the Title Sponsor for the Laureate Series.
