Serenity, Surprise, and Delight: The Humanist Architecture of Minoru Yamasaki

On June 1, Indiana Landmarks will host a free illustrated talk by Dale Gyure on the internationally renowned Modernist architect Minoru Yamasaki, designer of the lost World Trade Center.

Yamasaki also designed Butler University’s Irwin Library, the ten-story 1st Source Center in Fort Wayne, and other important buildings throughout the U.S. and overseas.

Prior to Gyure’s talk, Indiana Landmarks will present awards for central Indiana preservation projects. The awards presentation begins at 6 p.m., followed by Gyure’s talk at 6:30 p.m. at The Toby at Indianapolis Museum of Art.
