Shrek the Musical

Everyone’s favorite ogre takes the stage at Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre for the first time May 18 in Shrek, The Musical. The hilarious, Tony Award-winning stage production based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film runs through July 2.Shrek, The Musical brings all the characters from the film to the stage where the unlikely hero finds himself on a life-changing journey with a wisecracking Donkey and a feisty princess who resists her rescue. Peter Scharbarough (Ruben, Joseph…; principal in A Beef & Boards Christmas 2013-16; Monsieur D’Arque, Beauty and the Beast) stars as the title character, with newcomers Emily Grace Tucker as Fiona, the feisty princess, and Julius Thomas III as Donkey. John Vessels (Cogsworth, Beauty and the Beast; Rev. Oglethorpe, Smoke on the Mountain series; Mal Beineke, The Addams Family) andKelly Teal Goyette (Madame de la Grande Bouche, Beauty and the Beast; Mrs. Brill, Mary Poppins)return to the Beef & Boards stage in the roles of Lord Farquaad and the Dragon, respectively.There are 48 performances of Shrek, The Musical in the intimate atmosphere of Beef & BoardsDinner Theatre.
