Village Voices: Notes from the Griot

Individuals of all ages are invited to celebrate the contributions of African-American artists with a cultural and interactive experience featuring the underperformed masterworks of African and African-American dance, art, music and composition. Performing artists include Joshua A. Thompson, Megan Simonton, Bashiri Asad, Manon Voice, Uzuri Asad, Jared Thompson, Deonna Craig and Rae Parker. This program will be held in Central Library’s Clowes Auditorium.
