“What Do You Hear” features work of abstract expressionist painter Susanne Scherette King.

All paintings are acrylic on canvas and range in size from 18” x 18” to 40” x 60”.

The pieces displayed in “What Do You Hear” are derived from nature or location. Rich colors and motion, as well as depth and shape are evident in the work.

Susanne Scherette King has shown work in Philadelphia, Columbus and Dayton, Ohio, Michigan and Indianapolis. Her work has also been sold internationally. She is self-taught using works of Motherwell, Hoffman, Diebenkorn, and Joan Mitchell and many other mid-century expressionist painters as inspiration.
