Indianapolis Early Music brings Chicago’s Artemisia Vocal Trio, known for “blurring the boundaries between classical and folk music” for a free concert at the Indiana History Center on April 23 at 4:00.
Artemisia Vocal Trio endeavors to bring diversity and accessibility to their programming. Not your typical stand-and-sing ensemble, Artemisia programs typically include a range of visually appealing dramatization that aim to augment their vast repertoire base, including 11th century chant, Tusetian highlander cries, Norwegian war songs, and everything in-between.
Admission is free of charge, with a free-will offering opportunity. Tickets are available at the door on the day of the event, April 23, for the 4:00 p.m. concert.
