Arts & Images by Anthony Armstrong
Anthony Armstrong presents “See Me: Faces,” a collection of “everyday” people, who they are, what they do, and what they want. “I love to listen to an individual’s story, to try and understand who they are, what has driven them, what directions life has taken them, and at the core, we are really all wanting the same things,” said Armstrong. Armstrong is a self-taught abstract painter and photographer. He highlights images of travel, street photography and human interest subjects. A chef by trade, and a photo enthusiast by hobby, Armstrong has grown to include abstract painting as another outlet of expression. In his photography, he prefers to work in black and white, so that the viewer will see other elements of the image, in the absence of color. Armstrong’s studio is located in South Studios.
