Now considered one of the foremost music competitions in the world, the International Violin Competition of Indianapolis (IVCI) aims to identify and promote young, talented violinists through a quadrennial competition and festival of the violin. In addition to stunning competition performances, there are accompanying exhibits and educational presentations. The IVCI also produces the annual Laureate Series, which are concerts featuring former winners of the Competition in collaboration with Indiana cultural organizations such as the Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra, Ronen Chamber Ensemble, Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center, Pike Performing Arts Center and the Indianapolis Museum of Art. Educational programs developed by the Competition include the multidisciplinary Juried Exhibition of Student Art, International Violinists in the Schools, master classes and short-term residencies.

The 11th Quadrennial International Violin Competition of Indianapolis will take place in September 2022. Check back often for news on our Laureates and sign up for our newsletter at https://violin.org/newsletter-sign.
