Paper Seasons

Pulling inspiration from its close location to IPS School 54, Will Schlough’s mural depicts colorful construction paper cutouts of each of the four seasons. The artist matched the colors in the mural to actual construction paper samples to provide a sense of nostalgia and familiarity. The mural was painted in conjunction with the East 10th Street Civic Association and volunteers from Katz Sapper and Miller. Paper Seasons is located along East 10th Street at Lasalle Street.

The mural was one of 46 murals commissioned by the Arts Council of Indianapolis as part of its nationally renowned 46 for XLVI mural initiative.
