Richard Ratliff, piano
Richard Ratliff presents an evening of personal favorites from the 18th through 20th centuries, with music of Mozart, Kodály, and Olivier Messiaen. The last half of the program will be devoted to the inspired lyricism of Franz Schubert’s last Sonata of 1828 (B-flat, D. 960) – an epic drama filled with references to the recurring “Wanderer” archetype found in poetry and painting of the period.
Presented by Katz, Sapper & Miller
