Hancock County Arts provides leadership for the creative community by encouraging, celebrating, and promoting arts and culture throughout Hancock County Indiana. The council is based in an art gallery in downtown Greenfield and hosts new art exhibits, workshops, and arts-related meetings throughout the year.

HCA is a 501(c)3 organization supported by grants, memberships, and volunteers.

PARKING INFO

Parking is available on North Street or in the “Living Alley” between North and Main Streets. Visitors can identify the living alley parking lot by looking for a building mural representing James Whitcomb Riley’s poem, “The Ol’ Swimmin’ Hole.”

PUBLIC HOURS

Second Fridays, 6:30-9 p.m.

Saturdays & Wednesdays, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

PUBLIC ADMISSION FEES

Admission to gallery shows is free.

Workshops and class intructors sometimes charge a fee. See details at http://www.hancockcountyarts.com.

  1. I am interested in finding out if your Gallery would like to purchase a Charles Vezin oil painting we have , We had it appraised and we were told it was over a hundred years old , Please contact me if you are , I can send pictures or bring it in , We are in the Mt.Comfort area. Thank you
