  • Cody Clark
    Cody Clark
    Performing Arts: Storytelling, Theatre; Magic
Cody Clark has been practicing the art of magic since the age of 11, in spite of all of the things he was told he couldn’t do because of his autism. His combines his magic effects with scripts based on real life experiences, which gives his performances a greater sense of authenticity in a style he calls “magical realism”. He caught the attention of Genii magazine in their October 2016 issue, who noted that “because he is focused on his character when choosing material, he can take a classic or new piece and make it unique to him”. The Society of American Magicians has also recognized his talents by awarding him the 2017 Cherie Kay Rising Star of Magic award, given at their annual convention to young magicians who show professional promise. Cody has performed his one-man show about living with autism at many fringe festivals, small theatres, and schools/summer camps for autistic students. He performs in shorter segments on the monthly magic show circuit, consisting of Derby City Magic, Indy Magic Monthly, and Magic Chicago. And he has designed a show for young children inspired by his love of trains called “Conductor Cody”.  He is a student of the McBride Magic & Mystery School in Las Vegas and graduated from the University of Louisville in 2015 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and Theatre Arts. While Cody is based in Louisville, KY, he LOVES performing in Indianapolis! His earliest stage time was at Taylor Martin’s Indy Magic Monthly, where he still performs frequently every year. He is also a favorite of IndyFringe, who aside from featuring his solo show at their 2016 IndyFringe Theatre Festival, regularly brings him back to perform at events they host throughout the year. So don’t hesitate to contact him about your event in Indy! He will be glad to make the trip up to one of his favorite cities!

As an art-technologist I use art & technology to create content and immersive technology about entrepreneurship, cultural value, self-discovery & renewable-sustainable technology & lifestyle through virtual reality, augmented reality, mixed reality & integrated LEDs. My interest in spatial computing started from painting. My previous background is painting and still is. As a painter I paint the universe in all of my paintings. The universe represents an expanding of the unknown or massive amount of potential that we just don’t have access to yet. This narrative could also be said about humanity and people. We all have unknown potential that we are not aware of and have not tapped into to access. Our genius within us. From painting the universe, I also understood that “Creation Is When Art & Science Meet” the slogan of ArtisScience22 an art & technology platform I created. The scientific process is birth through imagination and creativity to solve problems. To sustain creativity, one must use science. At this point, I took online classes to become an electrical engineer and creating the hardware lead me to a more creative process through expression of technology called virtual reality or spatial computing. All of my paintings, software, and hardware are engineered to create value and equity around the black experience to enhance the potential of humanity.

Nasreen copyedits for a living, and writes poetry and paints to stay sane. She grew up in West Africa and Indonesia and moved to the wide and gritty American Midwest by way of New York City. She and her toddler son live in their bungalow on Indianapolis’ Near Westside. On a Friday night she can be found cooking various organ meats or chasing down a stellar mint julep.

  • Christian & Katalina Married 2 Magic
Christian & Katalina Married 2 Magic
    Performing Arts: Storytelling
Christian & Katalina are the #1 Husband and Wife Comedy Mind Reading Act in the Nation. They have created a fun, yet mystifying act that infuses modern day repartee with psychological illusions. Visualize one part Candid Camera, one part Twilight Zone, and one part Gomez and Morticia. Christian & Katalina are able to engage authentically with audiences of all ages spanning the nation and always have the ability to shock, startle, and yes, create laughter for audience members as they witness the impossible. But you may be wondering how does one get started performing a mind reading act? Well for us the path was not an ordinary one. Christian always had 2 loves growing up: the Army and performing. Christian has been very fortunate to be able to realize both his dreams. Christian retired from the Army after serving for 20 years and is now a full time entertainer with his wife Katalina, who also served in the Army for 10 years. They met while jumping out of airplanes at Ft. Bragg North Carolina. Christian initially began performing as a stand up comic at comedy clubs. With his quick wit and ability to interact with the audience, he realized that not only did he enjoy performing, but he also had a natural ability to entertain. He wanted to create a unique act so he spent many years working on the integration of illusion and comedy. As the act grew and people loved it, the audience wanted more illusions.  While in the Army in Europe, Christian joined up with a very talented magician and performer named Timo Marc.  Together they began doing corporate work and performing arts centers.  They developed ideas and routines that they both still use today.  Unfortunately, Christian had to return to the United States and bid farewell to his good friend Timo.  Katalina was unaware she would soon be on stage with Christian.  She was always involved with the show, but only in producing and managing.  Christian enjoyed the energy of two people on stage and convinced her to join him.  And the rest is history as they have been performing together ever since. Of course, working with your wife has its own set of challenges and soon those tribulations became the core of his new show with his wife.  Audiences love the interaction of a married couple that can entertain.
