Visual Arts: New Media/Technology, Photography, Visual Arts Instructor
Born in Miami, Aaron Law is a Professor of Design Emeritus at the Herron School of Art and Design / IUPUI. He earned his B.F.A. in Graphic Design from the University of Florida and his M.F.A., also in Graphic Design, from Indiana University. He joined the Herron faculty in 1971 and served as Chair of the Foundation Studies Program from 1973 to 1979 and Chair of the Visual Communication Department from 1980 to 1996.
He has completed professional consultantships for organizations ranging from non-profit groups to Fortune 500 corporations. Many of his design works have received Awards of Excellence in local, regional and national design competitions including: Type Directors Club of New York, University and College Designers Association, Society of Typographic Arts, American Institute of Graphic Arts, the Art Directors Club and Print Magazine.
His archival digital prints are represented in numerous national and international exhibitions.
