Brinton Farrand graduated from Carmel High School, Carmel, Indiana. He received a teaching degree from Purdue University and a Masters in Art Education from DePauw University. He taught High School Art and Photography in Mooresville, Indiana. In 2011, Farrand was the recipient of a Lilly Foundation Teacher’s grant, studying classical realism at Studio Escalier in France for three months with Timothy Stotz and Michelle Tully. After retiring in 2014, he studied painting at Herron Art
I have a solo exhibit at Indiana Landmarks, Rapp Family Gallery at 1201 N Central on Friday, Oct 5th from 6-9pm. This is a free show, all ages welcome.
We are also highlighting Edison School of the Arts – IPS School 47, providing a % of all sales to them to advance public school art education. Their art club will be showing 15-20 paintings which are their interpretation of the themes Brinton is showing in his show.
