I am open to painting just about anything but have been drawn to nature and wildlife lately. I have also been painting several commissioned pet portraits. Please check out my Instagram page artist_chrisquigley, Facebook Chris Quigley page and on Etsy at ChrisQuigleyArt I have painting sea turtles, giraffes, tigers, elephants, lady bugs, butterflies, dragon flies, dogs, autumn landscapes, Christmas decor paintings etc.
Some of my paintings are being shown in the Art Bank gallery on Massachusetts Ave in Indy.
Pricing can vary by size and level of detail and/or difficulty but I am open to having a conversation to work something out per request. I have some 4in x 4in paintings for $15 and some 24 in x 24 in for $400. I have a wide range of sizes and am willing to figure it out with the client.
I studied at John Herron years ago and learned the art of stone sculpting by a stone sculptor in New Mexico.
Indiana Artisans member with stone sculpting (I have not been in a show in years with the Indiana Artisans but I was one of the first group of members.) I have not had a studio to sculpt in for the past several years (one reason I am painting) but I still have some access to a space and tools if you are interested in a sculpture.
I won Best in Sculpture for the 2011 Hoosier Salon Exhibit. I am not a current member but intend to apply again with my paintings.
I also won an honorable mention (sculpture) for the 2010 International Arts Festival in Carmel, Indiana.
