How fortunate I was to teach public school art for twenty two years. My goal was to promote my students’ art, to build their esteem, and to facilitate in scholarship programs. Now retired after a total of 42 years in various levels of education, I travel a hopeful path as an artist. It is time to promote my own art! As of late, I’ve been experimenting and developing my skills and processes. I find inspiration everywhere I look, and that inevitably filters down to my work. Delight finds
In my ripe old age, my purpose is to promote and sell my work. Does that sound greedy? Commissions are great and happily accepted. Yet, my joy is when someone wants to purchase a painting and subject that I found interesting and worthy of creating. Knowing that part of me leaves my home studio and moves to a new home, brings personal validation. Truly, that is an amazing feeling. critthunter.com
