Elijah Stephen is an American artist and drum circle facilitator whose work is hugely inspired by the dichotomy of corporate culture and family life. My art is a reflection of my soul and my journey. After my mother’s passing, I’ve been on a journey of self-discovery and healing. I’ve had to be honest and embrace my true self. I’m done trying to fit into a mold or define everything. My art and music are a way for me to connect with others and share my experiences. Being a full-time father has given me a sense of purpose and possibility. I’m driven to create, explore, and express the deepest parts of me. My work is inspired by the colors and textures of the natural world, as well as the rhythms and patterns of everyday life. I strive to capture the essence of the moment and convey it to others through my work. I hope to inspire, uplift, and bring people together. I’m grateful for the opportunity to create and share, as I constantly grow as a faithful husband, father, and leader. I’m concerned with changing lives, not being praised!
