I actually have two passions – writing and oil painting. I have just completed my seventh action/adventure novel which is presently in production and should be released within the next six to eight weeks.. I have also written several screenplays, two of which are presently under consideration for development.
In terms of my oil painting, I prefer to paint seascapes. I try to paint calming scenes as opposed to the more active ones. Every artist develops their own style – one that satisfies their creativity and imagination, or visually expresses a sense of feeling. Although my fictional stories are quite often action packed, my paintings are much calmer. In terms of my literary works, I want the reader to escape into my imaginative world of action and adventure however when it comes to my paintings, I prefer that that they reflect a sense of calm, tranquility and serenity.
