Everything I need to know I learned in Kindergarten – primary colors, basic shapes and big letters found in the modern landscape.
Artist Medium: Visual Arts: Oil
My images come from many different places. Some are from my travels, some are from right here in Indianapolis. I look for clean, concise compositions that typically include a big blue sky, a building or two, power lines and some kind of signage, preferably hand painted or with old rusted neon. Clouds and foliage are typically considered a distraction in my book. I look on clear sunny days, as that provides the best illumination of color and I often find marvelous scenes in the most unexpected places. (Small towns are the best!)
Range from $400-1200, depending on size and complexity (and how attached to it I am)
