My paintings are an attempt at reconstructing my dreams. I don’t always remember them clearly, but there is always a sense of twisted, shallow space, as well as objects that are easily recognizable but oddly juxtaposed. It’s a way of grasping at something that is simultaneously vivid and vague, and which slips through my fingers every morning upon waking.
