I’ve been making art my whole life, and it’s also been my profession for the last thirty years. As challenging as that can be at times, it is also a daily chance to bring beauty into the world and that makes me happy.
When I asked a friend for three words to describe my art, without a pause he said “playful, constructive, nostalgic.” I think it’s a pretty good summary, and it applies whether I’m creating a mixed media project or up-cycling a thrift store find.
