“I have been a working artist since 1974. A majority of my art is in commissioned work (over 370 pieces) consists of wool tapestry and later in wireworks. At this time I am working on a show to present in my studio in 2008. These works will be of pvc wire, netted and collaged with other materials. My career now includes independent historic research including written material for over 80 historic buildings in Indianapolis.” Orr
Artist Style: Visual: Assemblage
Orr’s wireworks consist of the netting of pvc wire into flat netted forms, which then can be shaped, bent or layered to create a form she calls “Watercolors in Space” and are referred to as WIREWORKS.
