IF YOU WERE TO ASK ME AT A YOUNG AGE WHAT I WANTED TO BE WHEN I GROW UP, MY RESPONSE WOULD HAVE BEEN A FASHION DESIGNER. IF YOU WERE TO ASK ME AT THE AGE OF 22, IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A FILM EDITOR. IT WASN’T UNTIL THE AGE OF 27 THAT I DECIDED TO MERGE MY CHILDHOOD DREAMS WITH THOSE OF MY EARLY ADULTHOOD INTO WHAT IS NOW KNOWN AS STEREOSCOPE. INSPIRED BY MY FONDEST AFTER SCHOOL MEMORIES OF PLAYING WITH MY AUNT AND GRANDMA’S STEREOSCOPE, TO PROCESSING FILM IN MY HIGHSCHOOL DARKROOM AND SORTING
IT IS HARD TO PUT A LABEL OR SPECIFIC STYLE ON MY WORK. I WORK WITH ARTISTS, FAMILIES, CORPORATIONS AND EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN. I LOVE GIVING PEOPLE IMAGES THAT TELL THEIR STORY AND I TRY TO MERGE MY VISION WITH THEIRS.
