Pappas is an Indianapolis native and freelance journalist having worked as an art critic for NUVO Newsweekly and arts journalist for the IndyStar. She is an oil painter and printmaker.

Founded in 1880 by the Hoosier Group artist T.C. Steele’s wife, Mary, with a purpose to discuss the life and direction of the arts in Indianapolis. Membership is limited to 75 arts professionals. I am the Secretary for the 2020/2021 season.
Formally represented at Woodburn and Westcott Gallery and Editions Limited Gallery, both in Indianapolis, Indiana.
