“My paintings prove to be an ongoing investigation of color, form, space and light. Color is always the definitive character in my paintings. Colored forms develop into certain shapes and start to communicate with each other on the picture plane and myself. The painting, in a sense, “tells” me what direction it is heading and I take away and put in color and more color until I am satisfied with the surface, colors and composition.
