Nanette uses a layering process to achieve rich texture. In her art, you may find ripped pieces of hand-made paper, canvas, or globs of modeling paste buried beneath the surface. Sometimes the texture determines the image and sometimes it is the other way around. It is much like a creative dance with no rules and no expectations. She has experimented with many types of art while exploring the psychology involved in the creative process. Her current project is focusing on helping other creatives learn how to express themselves fully with enthusiasm and without restraint.
