After retiring from corporate life, I took a pottery lesson and was hooked. Then taking many more courses I felt ready to work on my own style. My love of travel, nature and gardening gives me many subjects for inspiration
Artist Style: Visual: Contemporary, Decorative/Ornamental, Functional; pottery
Artist Medium: Visual Arts: Clay
I am a studio potter, hand making stoneware functional and decorative ware. My style leans toward contemporary and midcentury modern. I love to blend colors and textures that make my pieces unique.
I will be showing my work this year at the Rocky Ripple Festival, Carmel Pride, Noblesville Makers Fair and the Potters Bridge Festival. Also, I am waitlisted for the Broad Ripple Art Fair.
My work has been exhibited at Noble Made and Stone Art Gallery
I try to price my work as modestly as possible in order to be affordable for most people. My pieces are to be used, not just sitting on a shelf.
